This exciting news has been in the works since the end of summer and driving me crazy. I finally got the ok this afternoon to tell you all what I will be working on over the next 10 months.
I have been assigned a golf tournament that will be on the PGA Canada Tour!! Yup…read it again…and again!!
This is the biggest opportunity of my career and I am beside myself with excitement. I am scared but so excited!! I have busted my ass for the last two years, I’ve not said no to one event in the hopes that one of those events would lead me to being in the right place at the right time. And sure enough…it happened.
I am so excited for the opportunity to work along side Evolution Golf from Brockville. A huge thank you to Martin Noe for seeing the potential in me and giving me a chance to do something amazing.
So here are some of the details. I have been assigned the Charity Pro Am that is part of the Great Waterway Classic that has just been taken over by PGA Canada. I presented my client with the charity of my choice and he loved it. LOVED IT!! This is why I said the other day on Facebook that this could be the most rewarding event of my life. I will be raising funds for the Therapeutic Clownprogram at CHEO. For any of you who have had children spend time at CHEO I guarantee you have run into Molly Penny. Molly Penny is one of my favorite charities and I have an opportunity to do something for her in a big way. A really big way. But in the big scheme of life only a small way to repay her for the joy the brought to my nephew Elgin’s life and to all the other children she helps every single day.
Along with that I am also in charge of a black tie Casino Night at the event and a Wine & Sampling Village over that weekend.
So, if you are a golfer or are a big supporter of Molly Penny and everything she does for the children please clear your schedule for the week of August 26th and join me at the Upper Canada Golf Course for one of the most memorable weeks of your life.
I will share details as we get going.
Every moment I will spend on this tournament will be done in memory of my nephew Elgin. Elgin, I hope I do you proud xoxo
