The theme for everything this year seems to be vintage. Vintage clothing, vintage home decor and now vintage weddings. I was sent this blog post that talks about a vintage wedding that happened right here in the Ottawa area. The event took place at Saunders Farm and you know how I am always talking about how every detail has to be perfect. Well check out the photographs of this beautiful day and pay attention to the details. This bride did it right. She made sure every detail was vintage perfect which pulled off her vintage wedding.
I think my favorite detail is the vintage bride’s maids dresses. I love, love, love them! They look like they’ve stepped right out my daughter’s favorite movie, Hairspray. Check them out. Would your bride’s maids wear them?
Oh ya, one more detail I love. I love the croquet game. I love when people remember that guests need to be entertained at an event. I love games, activities and anything that will keep the guests busy and enjoying the event.
How do you feel about vintage? Do you think the past should stay the past or do you think it is a great addition to today’s look?
