There is a misconception about event planners. People think that if they hire an event planner they won’t be the one making the decisions, that they will lose control of their event. That couldn’t be more wrong.
Our job is to research, provide options, suggest choices and help the client make the best decision using our knowledge and experience.
The advantages to hiring a planner include – getting products and services at the best price, being provided with options you didn’t know existed, having someone on site to manage any challenges that may arise, and most importantly you actually get to be truly present at the event you have invested so much into.
In this particular case we are presenting three options to our client. One based on whether the client’s focus is on the budget, one if the focus is on team building and the other on the amusement factor. Our choice in this case is option two but in the end it’s the client’s choice.
