Team Christmas Design Challenge – Part 5

This simple and inexpensive decor piece is brought to you by Amanda. I love that she was able to use all things she found around the house.

For the jars I just used some mason jars I have at home and coated the inside with glue, a bit of water and silver glitter; inside the jars are red tea lights (white would work great but red was all I had). The centre vase was a disarrono glass with greenery I picked and some red berries from the dollar store. A wine bottle would also make a great centre piece with the jars as well!

The hanging piece is made from a twine/straw like material I had laying around at home, a piece of a branch I found outside, pine, and ornaments I already had at home. The pine ball was made from a styrofoam ball from the dollar store which I stuck many small pieces of pine into. Everything hanging from the piece is tied using the straw. For both pieces I spent about $4 on items from the dollar store. What’s great about the hanging decoration is that you can hang anything from it that you might already have lying around at home!
