Santa came to The North Pole in Kempville during the Old Town Christmas on November 30th.
ITM was proud to be able to provide staff for the event and help to ensure the event ran smoothly. The ‘North Pole’, located on Prescott Street across from the CIBC Bank, was not only a place for the kids to visit with Santa but also where they could do their shopping for Mom and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa and even their brothers and sisters. All of the money raised was donated to the Kemptville Hospital Foundation. While the kids were shopping the parents could take a few minutes to relax and enjoy cookies and coffee donated by Graham’s Bakery. There were elves to help with choosing and wrapping gifts and a colouring station where the children could colour a special holiday picture.
As the bells rang at the old firehall to signal the twelve o’clock hour Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived. That was clearly the highlight of the afternoon.
Santa and Mrs. Claus listened to all the children’s little wishes.
Parents were taking lovely pictures which made another great idea for a present for Grandma and Grandpa.
Mrs. Claus had a gift for all the little children, everyone went home with a candy cane.
What a great afternoon of smiles, laughs and giggles.
A big thank you to all the volunteers who made this a very memorable day for all the children.
Please allow me a moment to introduce myself. My name is Julia O'Grady and I am the heart and soul behind ITM. I started this company in October 2010 to help fulfill my dream of making people's lives just a little better, one special moment at a time. I am passionate about special moments and thrive on planning events. I love everything about it. I love the organizing, the problem solving, coming up with original ideas and adding a little bit of the unexpected into everything I do.
