I attended the Kemptville Women in Business meeting last night and had an amazing time meeting some amazing, like-minded women. I was talking to someone about my business and what my passion is behind it and I came out with the line “No moment is too small to celebrate” and she looked at me and said “that is a perfect line for you to use”. She’s right, I’m going to start using it.
As I said, I was telling her about why I am so passionate about my company and explained to her that I am not only about doing big lavish events (especially weddings…a discussion for another day) but I am even more interested in doing the small meaningful events. I want to be able to help people organize even the smallest of parties or events. Life is too short not to celebrate the small things in life. I told her the story of my daugher Alyssa losing her first tooth and her looking at me and saying “I want to have a tooth fairy party”…so we did. Losing her first tooth was a huge deal to her and I could have easily been too busy to have a party for her but we made the effort and she still talks about that party to this day.
When I first started my company I posted a statement on my website “No matter what your budget…” and I removed after awhile thinking it was only going to get me into trouble but the more I think about it the more I mean it. Not only the rich and famous deserve to be able to afford a party planner, everyone needs some help sometimes and I am here to do that.
I truly believe that we can plan just about anything you want within any reasonable budget. You obviously can’t call me and expect to pull off a conference for 100 people with a budget of $200 but if you can give me a reasonable number I can certainly give you the very best conference I can put together.
Need help planning an event? Take a minute, put some real thought into a reasonable budget that you can afford for the event and then give me a call. I’d be happy to help.
