My Why – A 3-part series on why I walked away from a cash for life job

I was listening to a Boss Babe podcast a few weeks back, they were talking about “your why” and why it is so important to have a why and to live that why. It got me thinking about my why. Why did I start this crazy adventure? Why do I get up every day motivated to do the best I can? Why do I sacrifice the comfort of a cash for life job for the regular discomfort of the unknown?

The timing of this podcast was perfect because I was headed out on holidays the next day. I was going to have time to decompress which in turn means I would have a clear my mind to think. Really think. After just over 2 weeks of holidays I can tell you that I was able to remember my why. What is really interesting is that my why was never really clear in my own mind. I thought it was but it wasn’t really. The pieces were there but the true meaning of my why was missing.

My why is so much more than just doing something fun like planning events and it is more than $100,000.

My why is FREEDOM.

Follow along as I share all the aspects of the freedom that this crazy wonderful life gives me and others. Today’s video is about my personal why. Tomorrow and the next day are about how my why and how that word, FREEDOM, affects those around me and those we serve.

Do you have a why? If you do I want to hear about it! Share it with me!
