Losing Sleep … Loving What You Do

Losing Sleep … Loving What You Do
As you know, I have been reading Donald Trump’s book, Think Big. I am finding it so inspirational, so motivating, and I love reading about someone who understands how I feel about my company and it’s potential.
Before reading this book I would have thought that Donald Trump didn’t really work anymore.  He has enough money to travel all the time, stay home, essentially do anything he wants do other than work.  I was greatly mistaken. He loves to work.  In fact he says he only sleeps a few hours a night because he can’t wait to get up in the morning and go to work.
Last night I posted on Facebook…

“You know you love what you do when instead of watching the clock while you work you finish work and look at the clock and say “holy crap it’s way past my bedtime!”…”

In fact, look at the time right now, it’s 6:30am on a Friday morning. I was up until after 11 last night working on costumes. I had an extremely exhausting day yesterday. I worked very hard at my other job because I have a major deadline to meet today, then I had a meeting with a new client (for my fun job) and then I stayed up late organizing the costumes for today’s open house.  I used to be in bed by 8, watch a movie or read a book then sleep until I absolutely had to get up.

Do you love what you do?  Have you found your passion?  It doesn’t have to be your job, have you found something in your life that you love so much you can’t wait get right back at it?  What is that something you would be willing to lose sleep over?  Tell me, tell me, tell!
