It allows you to change the timeline for your day, not stick to a traditional dinner and reception, both can be costly.  And use the savings towards a splurge item that you do not want to compromise on, like videography?

It also allows you to add extra details to certain things such as table settings, invitations or even your gifts to your guests. When planning a small wedding, you can plan it in a few months and make it less stressful on yourself and your significant other. You do not need a years’ worth of planning for a smaller wedding.
