Getting it All Together
So last Thursday Rachel and I rearranged the office. Took out some shelves (still not sure where I am going to put everything that was on those shelves), put in a comfy thinking couch and posted flip chart sheets all over one wall with one event per sheet. We currently have 11 events up on the wall and 7 more on the floor that we don’t have room to post yet. I am feeling more in control of what we have going on. I spent several hours this evening doing lots of little stuff I needed to get done, sending emails, burning cd’s…
We have some big events coming up that we are really looking forward to. I am currently most excited about the fashion show at Panache. I think it is going to be fantastic!  The concept behind the event is great and I am so excited to watch Beth and Kate work their magic.
Oh ya! We have also registered for the Santa Clause Parade here in Kemptville! We are working on our float. We have started to order in the stuff we need and our designer has created something for us to hand out…can’t tell you what it is, you’ll have to come and see.  Oh ya, we’ll be announcing our newest event at the parade…heehee!
What else do we have going on?  Hmmm….we have lots of hockey games. A big one in at the Barbara Ann Scott arena next week for the Ottawa West Golden Knights.  The Blue Wings keep us busy on a regular basis working on game events and activities and we have a really big event coming up for them as well…hasn’t been announced yet so can’t tell you that either.
We are booking the last of the stuff we need for our two New Year’s Eve events. Have you read about what we’re doing yet? If not you should because there are going to be a limited number of tickets and we don’t want you to miss out.  I don’t know that anyone has ever done what we have lined up for this year.
We have lots of other events on the go but like a few I’ve already mentioned we haven’t announced them yet publicly so I can’t tell you what’s up just yet but be sure to keep an eye on our website and the newspapers, you’ll hear about it for sure.
On a personal note, I am already working on my daughter’s 13th birthday party.  Wow, she is going to be a teenager…amazing!
