Wednesday night was the opening ceremonies for the Kemptville Apprentice. My name is Rachel Morgan, I am an employee of In the Moment Party & Event Planning, and I am the “overseeing event planner” for the group that is planning the fundraising event for Big Sky Ranch here in Kemptville.
As the night unfolded our team showed a very promising group of people, out team consists of two participants from the Kemptville Scotiabank, Natalie the owner of Catered Affairs and Kim Monkhouse from Gale Real Estate.
Our group started their meeting by taking the time to get to know one another, they then started to throw around some very fun ideas for their fundraising event. Through conversation the idea came up to do not one big event but something they called “leap frog events” due to the leap year coming up. They discussed the idea that having several small events would keep their overhead low and their fundraising high. They talked about hosting a 50/50 draw for the month of February with tickets probably being sold at Gale Real Estate, Scotiabank in Kemptville as well as at each of the events, more information on this draw will be released Tuesday.
The team plans on hosting a 5 Star bake sale as well as two other events, keep checking for details on those events.
Parents try to keep your family day open because we’ve got a family event that is sure to entertain the whole family of all ages. Keep your eyes open for advertisements and ticket sales, follow our group on our face book page and don’t forget…the money is going to support Big Sky Ranch.
This Is Rachel signing out for week one of the Kemptville Apprentice.
Please allow me a moment to introduce myself. My name is Julia O'Grady and I am the heart and soul behind ITM. I started this company in October 2010 to help fulfill my dream of making people's lives just a little better, one special moment at a time.
