When you work with an amazing team like I do you are bound to have moments that make us high five, moments where we come together to help each other and most importantly those moments that make us laugh.
On Wednesday we had one of those moments. You may remember seeing this picture on our Facebook page…
This is the team I brought with me to a meeting where we were presenting a proposal for a decor job we have been asked to do. From left to right, Melanie – our Algonquin College Intern, Me, and Jessica one of our designers.
The meeting went great and before we left, because I have the smallest bladder in the world, I ran in to pee. Well within seconds of sitting down I realized there was no toilet paper! No worries I thought because those guys are outside and one of them is bound to come in to pee or wash their hands. I waited. And waited. Crap…not literally…lol…I had to come up with a plan B. Oh I know, I will text them. I sent them a text and waited. Still nothing. So I drip dried the best I could and put myself back together. Quickly changed stalls and cleaned up as required. I left the bathroom and found the two of them standing outside the bathroom door chatting. I said, “I needed your help. I sent you a text.” They both looked at me a little strangely and pulled out their phones and checked my message and responded with “Sorry we were chatting.”
